GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ONLINE shop of agricultural institute of slovenia
WEBINAR TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The General Terms and Conditions determine the operation of the online shop for webinars of the Agricultural Institute of Slovenia, the rights and obligations of the customer and the online shop, also regulate the business relationship between Agricultural Institute of Slovenia and the Customer. The buyer is bound by the General terms and conditions that are valid at the time of online purchase.

1. Scope of application
1.1 The following General Terms and Conditions in the applicable version at the time of placing the order shall apply exclusively to the business relationship between AGRICULTURAL INSTITUTE OF SLOVENIA, Hacquetova ulica 17, 1000 Ljubljana (henceforth »AIS«) and the participants in online seminars, webinars and purchasers of video courses (henceforth »Customers«).
1.2 The General Terms and Conditions of the online store for webinars of the AIS are compiled in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot), the Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-1) and the Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-1).
1.3 The online sale is carried out by the Agricultural Institute of Slovenia, Hacquetova ulica 17, 1000 Ljubljana, tax no .: SI23887729, registration no .: 5055431000.
1.4 The Agricultual Institute of Slovenia online shop undertakes to provide the customer with the following information:
· information on webinar service provider Beekeeping Academy of Slovenia (henceforth »BAS«),
· contact details for effective communication and resolving complaints (telephone, e-mail),
· information on the essential characteristics of the services from the online shop offer,
· prices of the service with VAT,
· methods of payment,
· information on the time validity of the offer from the online store,
· information on the possibility of changing the date of the service or canceling it.
2. Subject matter of the contract
2.1 The AIS via their platform, offer attendance webinars and online training courses (henceforth »Events) which are provided through various forms of teaching and methods of implementation.
2.2 Prices, details and conditions for individual events can be found in the respective product descriptions on the webpage https://sca.kis.si/en/education/ and in the description in the online shop.
3. Ordering process and conclusion of contract
3.1 Customers can book a Webinar on the website https://sca.kis.si/en/education/. During registration, the Customer must truthfully provide all the requested personal information.
3.2 After payment received, the invoice and subsequently the access data for the event shall be sent to Customer´s e-mail address stated at the time of booking. The Customer agrees to keep this data safe, not to pass it on to unauthorised third parties, and to prevent third parties from gaining access to it. The Customer further agrees to ensure that the data they provide is kept up to date, especially their contact details.
4. Prices and payment terms
4.1 During the order process, the Customer can choose among available methods of payment. The participation fee is to be paid in advance.
2 2 Online payment is possible with payment / credit cards via UJP. E-payments takes place in a secure and encrypted financial environment, which enables immediate verification of the payer's solvency and the validity of the account with the payment card issuer.
The UJP e-payment web application enables secure online payment for public sector e-services in the following ways:

5. Order process and conclusion of purchase agreement
5.1 Customers make a purchase in the AIS online shop by first selecting the »Add to basket button and then filling in the required fields with personal data for the desired item. By clicking on the "Complete order" button, the Customer confirms that he is familiar with the general terms and conditions of AIS.
5.2 These General terms and conditions are considered contractual terms in the sense of the Consumer Protection Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 98/04-UPB2 et seq .; ZVPot) and are part of each sales contract. The order is concluded in Slovene or English (if the customer fills in the order in English). The concluded contract is stored on the servers of the AIS online shop. 6. Technical requirements for participation in live webinars
6.1 When taking part in a live webinar, each participant must meet the minimum requirements (internet connection, current browser version, download a program from the webinar platform if necessary, speakers or headset) and test these before the webinar.
6.2 Failure to meet the technical requirements for which the customer is responsible does not relase the customer from the contractual obligation to pay. In so far as a participant/customer does not report any technical problems during a webinar and no such notifications are evident from recording either, participation shall be considered to have taken place.
7. Copyright
7.1 The content of all events and all materials (webinar documents, recordings that are made available, etc.) are intellectual property of Agricultural Institute of Slovenia or the respective instructor and are protected by copyright. They may be used exclusively by the registered participant to whom they were made available. Publication even if only in part, reproduction, distribution and editing are prohibited as is the recording of an event in audio or video or by means of screenshots. Legal proceedings may be initiated in the event of any misuse.
7.2 The Participant agrees to respect copyright and only use the live webinars individually for their own use under the terms of the contractual agreement.
8 Use of personal information and Data protection
8.1 By clicking on the "Complete order" button, you confirm that you are aware that the AIF, as the controller of your personal data, will process your personal data and ensure the protection of your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 July 2016. on the protection of personal data (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 94/07 - official consolidated text) and any other national legislation in the field of personal data protection and the Rules on the security of personal processing of AIF.
8.2 The AIS online store will contact the user via means of distance communication only if the Customer does not explicitly object to this, and in accordance with the provisions of ZEKom-1. The customer must be aware that he is obliged to provide the AIS online store with his real personal data in the correct form. By accepting these Terms and conditions, the customer confirms that the personal data provided by him are correct.
8.3 Customer can request an access to his/her personal data (acquaintance), supplementation, correction, deletion or restriction of processing at any time. If Customer believe that the processing of personal data has violated the law, he/she can complain to the Information Commissioner as the supervisory authority (gp.ip-rs.si). This request can be made to the AIS in writing, by e-mail or in another documented way.
8.4 Customer data are kept for as long as required by accounting standards, the law governing value added tax or other tax regulations (usually 10 years). AIS is not responsible for the accuracy of the personal data you provide when ordering.
8.5 The AIS online store ensures that the data collected on this basis is used only for the above purposes and cannot be transferred to third parties as defined in this consent without the written consent of the issuer of this consent. The AIS online store uses appropriate technological and organizational means to protect the transfer and storage of personal data.
9. Right of withdrawal and Cancellation
9.1 In accordance with ZVPot, customer has a right to cancellation or withdrawal from a live webinar. Until 5 working days before the scheduled date it is possible free of charge, if the booking is cancelled after that time, the participation fee shall not be refunded. (If recording is produced, this will be made available). The customer withdraws from the contract by sending the withdrawal message to the contact address of the AIS: sca@kis.si.
10. Place of jurisdiction, applicable law, contract language
10.1 The AIS shall respect the applicable rules in the areas of consumer protection, the protection of personal data and market operations. In case of problems, the user (customer) can contact the AIS at the phone number +386 (0)1 280 51 05 and also e-mail address sca@kis.si. The AIS will make every effort to resolve any disputes by mutual agreement and in shortest time possible.
10.2 The AIS does not recognise any out-of-court consumer dispute resolution provider as competent to resolve disputes that consumers may initiate under the Out-of-Court Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (ZIRPS). This means that potential disputes are settled before the competent court.
11. Changes to the general conditions
11.1 The AIS reserves the right to change these General terms and conditions at any time and without special notice. The changes come into force and apply from the day of publication on the KIS online store, except for orders that were confirmed before the change (these are performed under the previous general terms and conditions).
