Important Dates

The paper submission process is organized in two steps:

1. Abstract submission before the conference starts.
2. Full Paper submission after the conference for the MIC 2026 Conference Proceedings or the MIC 2026 supporting journals.

Please follow the dates below when submitting and registering for the MIC 2026 conference.

 E-submission is done through the conference system.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

* Registration fee with VAT: If the payer is a natural person or a Slovenian legal entity, the registration fee must be paid including VAT.

** Registration fee without VAT: If the payer is a non-Slovenian legal entity with a VAT number, the registration fee is charged without VAT (reverse charge – VAT exempt under Article 44 of the VAT Directive).

 *** PhD students: To be eligible for the reduced registration fee, students must submit the Certificate of Enrolment for the current academic year 2025/2026. The Certificate should be submitted to mic@fm.upr.si. 

 

One registration fee has to be paid per each abstract/paper accepted in the programme.

Participation in the pre-conference events is free of charge for those who registered for the main conference (however, only PhD students will have the opportunity to present their papers in parallel sessions on the pre-conference day).

The fee covers full conference participation and conference materials.

  

Payment Methods

After the abstract has been accepted for the conference, authors pay the registration fee to register for the conference and for their paper to be published in the MIC 2026 Book of Abstracts and (if authors so decide) in the MIC 2026 Conference Proceedings.

You can pay the conference fee by credit card or bank transfer. Details are provided below.

Please note that we have to receive the total amount on our bank account (you need to pay ALL bank costs; the selected mode of payment is "SHA" for EU countries and "OUR" for other countries).

 

Data for the Invoice - Submit Payer Data

The invoice will be issued based on the details submitted through the online conference system. Additional information to be included on the invoice can be provided in the conference system under Submissions – Comments and Data for the Invoice.

Cancellation Policy

50% of the paid amount will be held in case of cancellation received until May 15, 2026. In case of cancellation received after May 15, 2026, no refund will be made. All refunds will be made when the Conference ends. 

Important Notes

1. Each submitted abstract/paper must have at least one unique registration. That is, if you wish to submit more than one abstract/paper, each of the additional abstract/papers must have at least one co-author, who is also registered for the conference and is not the co-author of any other abstract/paper submitted to MIC 2026. Each participant, attending the conference, needs to pay the registration fee.
2. One registration fee has to be paid per each abstract/paper accepted in the programme.
3. The number of submitted abstracts/papers per author is limited to three (3).
4. The co-author/s attending the conference (and the full registration fee for the abstract has been already paid by another co-author) pay the Listener fee.
